Also, you take a screenshot of your desktop it doesn't matter if its 1080p or not, the picture size will be the same as your screen

Same here I use pure black or darker shades since it makes text easy to read and much cleaner look.

This is my desktop, got 3 monitors of different sizes (all 1080p) which makes it hard to line up a wallpaper that spans over all 3 so I just use one and have it on all of them instead.
