I made a simple countdown timer. I barely know C# so I bullshit my way through this, but it works (for the most part).
You can only count down from numbers 1-15, because more that 15 and you crash for some reason. I'll fix this later.
Here are some scans:

And here's a screenshot:

Don't really see its usefulness, but it's a good starter project I suppose.
It's useful in it's own unique way (and not many people will realize why)
I accidentally found something that people thought was patched by making a super simple timer
No, it's not a dupe.
@ @Mr_Guy you need to upload virus scans of the zip file and not the dll
This is just a reminder. I've just done it for you
Approved, post back results

Thanks for releasing.
Found the problem
The method "countDown" is not called thru a thread, so thread.sleep freezes the GUI thread - aka the KRelay thread, no wonder it crashes.
Instead, use tasks, delay with Task.Delay:
Just change the method with that one and it should no longer crash.Code:private async void countDown(Client client, int arg) { int num; for (int i = arg; i >= 0; i = num - 1) { PlayerTextPacket playerTextPacket = (PlayerTextPacket)Packet.Create(PacketType.PLAYERTEXT); playerTextPacket.Text = i + " "; client.SendToServer(playerTextPacket); await Task.Delay(1000); num = i; } }
Generally you shouldn't use thread.sleep, outside a thread.

It's actually so funny that you made this the same day I learned loops in my cs class, I can do this too now !
