Upcoming 1.12 features

[Space]

1.12 is an upcoming major update with no set release date.

Initially mentioned by Jeb at Minecon 2016 during the "Casual Chat with Jens" panel, saying that they already have ideas for a theme. On December 29, 2016, Jeb confirmed that he had started working on 1.12 features, and that they now have a theme.






Creative

• Save toolbars in Creative Mode with Ctrl+1-9/⌘ Cmd+1-9 and load them with ⇧ Shift+1-9.
• Can save up to 9 toolbars.
• If you save an empty toolbar, it will clear the bookmarked toolbar and put back the 'informational paper' in the respective slot.

Blocks

• Concrete
• Comes in the 16 traditional dye colors
• Created when Concrete Powder comes into contact with still or flowing water
• Concrete Powder
• Comes in the 16 traditional dye colors
• Gravity affected (like Sand and Gravel).
• When it touches water, it turns into a Concrete block.
• Craftable. Crafting: 4 Sand, 4 Gravel and one of any dye to get 8 Concrete Powder blocks. The recipe is shapeless.
• Glazed Terracotta
• Comes in the 16 traditional dye colors
• Smelt any colored stained clay in a furnace to obtain the Glazed Terracotta of that color (not for regular hardened clay).
• Can be placed in 4 directions: North, South, West and East.
• When placed down while facing the right directions, a repeating pattern can be created. For example, the white terracotta will create the pattern of a sun when 4 are placed down correctly.

Changes

• New palette texture.
• Banner
• New palette texture.

Paintings

• Will now try to place the largest possible in the available space it has.

Magma Blocks

• Are now able to burn infinitely, like Netherrack.

Mobs

• Sheep
• New color palette for wool on body.

Unconfirmed features
These features are not confirmed for 1.12, but they were mentioned or showcased by developers during 1.12 development. Main article: Mentioned features

• More note sound effects for the note block.
• If a piston gets powered and is unable to push, it will emit a smoke particle effect and play a small "clunk" sound.
• Non-aggressive zombie pigmen no longer preventing the player from sleeping.[6]
• If the bow used to craft a dispenser is enchanted, it makes the arrows fired from the dispenser act accordingly.

These are all in the snapshot, so it's a high possibility they'll come out in the finalized version of 1.12 too.

i would but honestly i miss old minecraft not these trash updates. I understand i can go back but alot of servers i used to play on have moved to higher updates
