Bump Rule?

What exactly is the bump rule, I know its once per 24 hours but some say you can't reply to questions on threads, but others, such as Flengo say you can reply to legitimate questions only.

Which one is it, could someone actually confirm?

If there is a valid question you should answer it on their wall or in PM if you have already posted within the last 24 hours on that thread. That's what I've been told.

You can only bump your thread once every 24 hours. This means you can only comment once your last post is dated 1 Day Ago. If you need to reply to a question, do so via Private Message or through Skype. If you need to confirm your identity with someone, do so via the Thanks button.
