What anime (that you've watched) did you think had a perfect ending, and why?

 

had a perfectly emotional ending that shaped the main characters forever. Even having a time skip showing how all the characters are doing after the events that take place in the last episode.

 

had a perfect ending that Ryuk foreshadowed in the very beginning. Towards the ending, you can visually see Light losing is sanity ultimately resulting in his defeat. Lights short tempered mentality and his massive ego lead to his enevitable lose.

 

evil will always exist no matter what you do about it.

I agree with the Death Note ending. Even though a lot of people don't like it, the manga ending is great. Light became evil. He lost. But there were signs that maybe Near cheated. Everything's possible.

Yes, Code Geass R2 had a really great ending to the series. Too bad, they are making another season potentially ruining that great ending.

Tbh I probably won't watch it. I don't want to ruin the great ending that was code geass. It ended the way it was supposed to.

The Death Note ending was rly perfect! Not to long, not to short

I agree that both Monster had a fantastic ending. While it wasn't my favorite, Death Note's conclusion was satisfactory. As for Ping Pong, I haven't watched that.

Anime that had amazing endings includes Your Lie in April which had one of the most emotional and unexpected ends ever. The same is true for Assassination Classroom as it ended on an uplifting, if not somewhat somber tone.
