In 30 minutes Watson faces off against the greatest jeopardy champions of all time. It's the classic pitch of Man vs. Machine. 10 years ago people said they couldn't beat humans in chess. Now they that's all they can do. Now they say they can't beat humans in Jeopardy. They say the questions are too difficult, the word play too intense, but in the 30 min the verdict will be decided. (Well actually its a 3 day event, but round 1 will be decided. What will people say computers can't do ten years from now, when they say "oh computers can't beat humans at Jeopardy, but that's all they can do"?
Godspeed Watson. It's time to make history.
