AMD Eight Core Configurator
This is what I've managed to get together so far.
Have $2k to build a new comp w/.
8-core @ 3.6 Ghz (+20% OC) and triple Radeon 6950's (in CrossfireX together) should be able to play anything, right?
(oh, yeah, and 8 gigs of RAM + 1000 Watt PSU)
HALP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Derped
What about peripherals, optical drives, SSD's, HDD's, cooling, case, etc.

It should be able to play a lot of games....
Why not buy a Alienware? Its much easier...

Amd's Bulldozer is such a fail.
Also, why not go two 670's over 3 6950's. It will take less power, cause less heat, and it's only like 40$ more.
Not to mention, they will preform WAY better.

Lol, should've posted this in hardware section.
I don't see what is the fucking point of 3 graphics cards.
That's an utter waste of money.
Bulldozers are crap, what's the use of 8 cores?
I can assure you that one GTX 670 would be enough for any game at the highest settings.
You are doing it wrong. You don't need that beast of computer. Cause computers tend to get old fast so the solution is upgrades.
For starters, get a 120Hz monitor. Here you can see: 3D Vision System Requirements
I recommend this one: Alienware OptX AW2310. Its manufacturer is Dell which is a good manufacturer for monitors.
GPU: You will need one GTX 670. No more no less.
CPU: Go with i5-3570K. If you are rendering a lot then go with i7-3770K.
PSU: Take the Antec HCG-620, it is a 620W PSU with a big fan(135mm) so it's quit. If you don't care about quietness go with Seasonic 620W PSU. It is still quit.
Motherboard: You will need 4 ram slot, and a good voltage stabilizer system in it for the overclock although if you are not going above 20% overclock then you can go with any Z77 chipset motherboard but you need a good manufacturer like Gigabyte, ASROCK or MSI. Asus is good too but expensive.
Cooling system: If you are not doing an overclock above 20% then you dont need a liquid cooling system. You can go with Scythe MUGEN 3 which is a good air cooling.
storage: You will need a good SSD with a capacity of 256GB at least for fast recordings with high quality and operating system to load fast at start up. I recommend Crucial Solid Series 256GB. And a hard disk with 1TB for backups and other things.
Case: Go with Fractal Design Define R3 or Antec P280 for quitness. Or if you dont care: Fractal Design ARC Mid Tower.
I think I covered pretty much everything.

Pssh, you're good. My HP Pavilion a6330f (recalled), runs on the Narra2 motherboard
4 GB RAM
Dual core amd athlon 5600+ @2.8 GHz
512 GB HDD @ 6.0 GB/s
32-bit windows 7
Radeon HD 2600 XT
runs AVA at 200 fps, bf3 at 60. Low quality of course.
Ha I forgot about the RAM, get 2X4GB RAM. 1333/1600MHz. You don't need a heatsink on it. 1.5V is preferable.
