    How to Get Binds working with [Detected] BaseCon v3 [NA]

    RE: How to Get Binds to Work for [Detected] BaseCon v3 [NA]


    So this is based off of @es0terik TuT on how to get binds to work, the method itself still works, but this is quite different & is based on the currently [Detected] BaseCon v3 [NA]
    Here are some binds I have tested & found to work, the bind keys are Just examples: Here for list of bind keys
    Confirmed working binds

    bind "F5" "cc_send_start_game_message"
    bind "F6" "CL_SHOWFPS 1"
    bind "F7" "incrementvar plr_search_evil_core_distance 100 500 400"
    bind "INS" "mp_friendlyfire 1"
    bind "DEL" "mp_friendlyfire o"

    What each command does
    "cc_send_start_game_message" //Will skip current Map while in Dungeon
    "CL_SHOWFPS 1" //Will show FPS & Current map name
    "incrementvar plr_search_evil_core_distance 100 500 400" //Will pickup cores from far away
    "mp_friendlyfire 1" //Friendly Fire on
    "mp_friendlyfire 0" //Friendly Fire off

    Step 1 - Download [Detected] BaseCon v3 [NA] HERE - Credits to @Nico

    Step 2 - Download PerX Injector HERE - Credits to @hackpurger

    Step 3 - Open Notepad (Save it in case you forget which keys your binding)

    Step 4 - Write down all your binds on separate lines and on the last line write down "host_writeconfig".
    Will look Something like this :

    bind "F5" "cc_send_start_game_message"
    bind "F6" "CL_SHOWFPS 1"
    bind "F7" "incrementvar plr_search_evil_core_distance 100 500 400"
    bind "INS" "mp_friendlyfire 1"
    bind "DEL" "mp_friendlyfire o"
    host_writeconfig

    Step 5 - Open your Vindictus folder and go to the cfg folder. The default destination is: C:\Nexon\Vindictus\cfg. Leave the folder open.

    Step 6 - Open PerX Injector, Make sure its set to auto-inject into Vindictus.exe & have it set to inject [esp+esi+418h+var_400].dll

    Step 7 - Open Vindictus.exe C:\Nexon\Vindictus\en-US\Vindictus.exe

    Step 8 - Okay now you're going to do a lot of things as fast as possible! (quoted from @es0terik )

    Step 8.1 - "Select All" in your open Notepad document and "Copy" it.
    Step 8.2 - Launch Vindictus.
    Step 8.3 - When BaseCon v3 pops up, right click in the command prompt and hit "Paste"
    Step 8.4 - Press "Enter"
    Step 8.5 - Now quickly, go to "cfg" folder that you opened and copy the "config" file & paste it in the same folder. You should now have one called config - Copy.cfg
    Step 8.6 - Go to the console in which you pasted all your binds and hit the "X" button to close it. This should shut down Vindictus.

    IF the game detects the hack after/as you click the "X" button Do NOT worry, it still worked.
    You need to do all of this before the game detects the hacks. It should take no more than 20 seconds.

    Step 9 - Your commands should be bound now. Go to your "cfg" folder. You should find two files in there. One is called "config.cfg" and one is called "config - Copy.cfg". Delete the file titled "config"

    Step 10 - Rename the file "config - copy" to "config". Once renamed, back this file up (copy it and paste the copy on your desktop or somewhere where you will remember it). This is the file that has all your custom binds on it. [Ex: config-Binds.cfg]

    Step 11 - This is the MOST IMPORTANT STEP. Right click the file titled "config" in your Vindictus cfg folder and hit "Properties". Next to where it says "Read Only", make sure that the box has a check in it. If it doesn't, check-mark it now. This will prevent Vindictus from ever overwriting your binds.

    Step 12 - Launch Vindictus!

    Step 13 - If you did everything correctly and followed this guide step for step, your binds should be working in game!

    Important Note: Do NOT change your in-game settings after doing all of this. Changing settings, controls and even video or audio options overwrites the config file. If you happen to change any of that and your binds stop working, just shut down the game and replace your config.cfg with the backup you made earlier. Make SURE to make the file "Read Only".

    I take no credit for this guide, I simply put their different instructions together.

    I've got a problem...
    Happens after it injects, right before the game starts (after the game shield, and other loading things were done).

    PS: If I used the transformation hacks: "plr_play_overlay_sequence dark_knight_transformation_begin_1" would it be easy to detect it?

    While the attached file is pending, the game loads fine, but just before it should come up with that black screen (with a giant V logo) it comes up with that error instead.

    PS: do any of the transformation commands work? I don't care much for the other commands, I just want infinite transform time, that's why I'm even here, just for that.

    Any idea as to why changemap isn't working for me? The others (showfps, skip map) are, but this command isn't. Do you need an active dll injected for this command to work? I'm new to Vindictus hacking but I know I setup the console command lines right

    Some commands need an active con for them to work. Some you cant bind (from what I've read).
    Only ones that don't need an active con or can be bound work right now. (or it needs to be a command)
    So if it doesn't work, then it needs an active con.

    So I guess changemap is a flagged command that needs an active con instead of being binded. Thanks

    Nexon doesn't want some commands to be bound. I think the full list is in the first BaseCon release thread.
