What is a Editor?

A Editor is a person who is well spoken in English and has the time to write and contribute to the Call of Duty Wiki.

The requirements to be a Editor are:

Must have an strong interest and be extremely knowledgeable in Call of Duty.
Must be able to word one's self and write well written English (all of the content must be written, none of it can be copy pasted).
Must have a significant amount of time to contribute and maintain the wiki.


Responsibilities of a Editor are:

Write and organize content.
Moderate and edit user submitted pages and content.
Ensure that the game news and other user submitted content gets to the frontpage.
Work with other editors to ensure that the wiki is up to date.
Take screenshots, find pictures, structure and format user content.
Actively participate in the development of the wiki, inactivity will not be accepted.

You may start contributing to the wikis, and we encourage you to do so. Support will play no part in selection process.

Well, I'm mainly applying here because I have literally until June to do what I want. So i'll love a way to make use of this free time. I am rather knowledgeable in CoD and in programming in general. I know lots and would love to share it with the community.
What have you done and what do you plan to do on the wiki:
Well so far, I didn't do anything on the CoD wiki but I plan to (or attempt to) fill all the CoD sections with a variety of user-friendly and useful information and tutorials. Basically, as I said, I have months of free time, might as well help people by using it efficiently for now.

Well, i'm already an Editor for the Crossfire Wiki, but I can easily help out with your Wiki aswell as i've played Combat Arms for a very long time. I don't require any perks from it, I'm just here to help out, don't even know if I should be applying, but I want to help out.. Sooo here it is;

Time available: 0-24 Hours Per day, I spend time on the Crossfire Wiki - Combat Arms - Then to the CoD Wiki, can range from 30mins - 2hours per day.

Reasons you should get this position: I'm currently an Editor on the Crossfire Wiki and also help out on the Combat Arms Wiki, from doing this I do not expect any perks but simply to be able to help out whenever I can as I have an interest in Call of Duty. I spend a lot of time on MPGH and have tried to help out each of the sections where I know information, now i'm moving onto the Call of Duty section.

What have you done and what do you plan to do on the wiki: I'm currently on the Black Ops 2 Multiplayer part of the Wiki, adding in any information to the sections which are missing information. I have not done much so far, but i'll be adding more and more information as I go along.

Reasons you should get this position: I have played Call of Duty for many years, on both; Xbox and PC. My time with Call of Duty is reaching a wealthy 3 years and my knowledge is very grand. If I can't click in something or I little about a section, I'll study it to find out every crack in the corners. My English is very good and I achieved an A at English - I will display this in the Wiki. I can contribute a lot of time towards the Wiki too. I can create clear, developed and professional videos too when appropriate. (I used to do YouTube.)
What have you done and what do you plan to do on the wiki: I have done little yet, but that doesn't mean I won't do anything. I'll do regular check-ups on the Wiki, I will look for new ways to re-create the Wiki (Not that it's great anyway). I plan on committing all my knowledge into the Wiki with my huge experience in Call of Duty.

EDIT: Been putting in a few words and notifications in places where missed out. I can list but I think there's a way to see my edits.

Reasons you should get this position: I think I should get this position because I am currently on vacation and I have lots of free time. I've got enough experience in many Call of Duty games. I have some experience in editing wikis. My English is pretty fine. I've played COD 4 since 2009 and ever since I've been playing many Cod games. I've mostly played COD:MW2, COD:MW3 and COD:BO2


What have you done and what do you plan to do on the wiki: I've contributed a lot and done some minor changes in the CoD:MW page. There were some mistakes and I corrected them like for example, in the MW page there were many mentions of MW4. MW4 isn't released yet and so I corrected it. The Gametypes in MW page is also really incomplete. I plan to edit and complete it within 2 days. I have also started to work on the earlier COD games.
