Best gaming headset?

The only gaming headset I've ever bought was the Turtle Beach x11 and only because it was $10 on craigslist brand new. It works fine for me though if price isn't an issue there's probably a better one out there.

Corsair 1500 or 2100, both are an equally good choice, it just depends on whether you want wireless or not.

if money isn't an issue for you, i wouldn't suggest getting turtle beaches. if you got the money, i suggest getting logitect, razer, pr maybe astros.

The best hands down are the Astro's A40 or A50. I use them for almost anything from console gaming to PC. You can soundwhore from really far away.

AKG (#1 choice), Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic, Phillips, HiFiMan. Any decent headphones from those brands coupled with Audio-Technica AT2020's make for an unbeatable audio setup.
