nah, i have the better version (the fx 8350) and the games cant even utilize my 8 cores on it, lets alone 6.
most games use about 4 cores nowadays so if youre rendering videos all the time and playing battlefield and battlefield only (i think it uses my entire cpu) then sure,get an 8 core part.
but to be honest my cpu bottlenecks a 770,dont get a worse one with a 780 - not like your not going to SE that shit anyways

get both of these,and a 8 gig ram stick and get it over with,this pc will be good enough for a couple of years - tho once more pc ports come out from the 8core using consoles i MIGHT just have the last laugh
