Why are you asking us? Your friend is the one that stole them.

Bro I'm sure his friend will lie to him and say that they work.

OT: Of course they have to be scanned. You really think they'd leave thousands of dollars worth of gift cards, game cards, disposable credit cards, etc. just laying around? None of that shit has a value until it is entered into a POS(point of sale) system.

No problem. Tell your friend next time that it's easier to shove a bunch of them in a Slurpee cup at 7-Eleven and fill it up. They'll be a mess and still won't work but there are ways.

If your friend is extremely shady I'll tell you how you can activate them.

Most POS systems are simple to operate. The Cash or Tender key is usually large, green, and located near the bottom right of the register. What you want to do is ask a store clerk at 7-Eleven to go get something that another "friend" or store manager left for them in the back. Just make something up. Do this late at night. Usually there is only 1 person working anyway. So sometimes they need to go in the back just to clean or do stock. When they do, swipe all of the cards really fast. Press Tender or Cash. You shouldn't have to key in an amount. Pressing Cash is usually a way of telling the machine that exact change was given. Then run like a bat out of hell! Don't take cash. I think if he took cash from the drawer when it opened the crime would be more severe. Just shut the drawer and run.

No. Not at all. We borrow without intent to repay. Totally different.

I've done that several times. In fact I was once smashing my best friends wife while he was locked up. It happens.

I wonder if I should have said I'm not responsible for their actions?! I can see it now. 200 arrests on Monday because of Nexon Cash theft related incidents.
