MPGH Events Team Applications

The Events Force is a new group which involves the creation of official game events for the MPGH community. Hunter, Unknown and Cardboard_Cat are helping design this force and can be contacted anytime. We need members to create and moderate these events. Read the whole post carefully before posting your application!

Current members:
Force Administrator: @Hunter!
The Force Administrator is responsible for holding the team together. All major decisions have to be reported and approved by the Force Administrator.
Event Moderator: @Cardboard_Cat , @Unknown , @Flengo
The Event Moderator finalises the event and gives the go-ahead for all events. No official event can go ahead without the approval of the Event Moderator. Picks the Event Force’s member.
Head organizer: @Predator
The Head Organiser designs the majority of the event and ensures that everything is in place for the event. Has control over the event and makes any important decisions.
Backup Organiser: @KillTheNoise
The Backup Organiser assists in the creating of events and is assigned to accomplish the the Head Organiser’s tasks if needed.


Positions available:
Event Staff: Assists with the running of the event and helps the Head Organiser during the event. It is required to be able to play the game as well as to have a basic understanding of the game itself.
Backup Organiser: Assists in the creating of events and is assigned to accomplish the the Head Organiser’s tasks if needed. It is required to have a basic understanding of the game and it's mechanics.
GFX Editor: Makes the event’s banners, handles the event’s GFX and such. The GFX editor is required to be able to make graphics on time.
Advertiser: Spreads news about the event and builds hype. This could be in the form of videos for example. The Advertiser is required to be able to play and capture a lot of games.


Requirements:

• Must have at least 250 posts.
• Must be familiar with organising and participating in events.
• Must have at least 6 months in the site.
• Must have proven willingness to participate, help organise and lead events.
• Must be able to not only uphold the rules of the site, but abide by them.
• Must be active.
• Must have a good knowledge of English.
• Must be shown to be both friendly and smart.

Why should you be chosen: I want to be a member of MPGH staff for once, and get a tag and all. Plus want to contibute with some art for the rest of the community not just the GFX section. Even though my works are far from being as good as Seyeko or Doc or Ethereal for example.

Event History: I work as a event organizer for my school, so any meetings, school plannings or events such as retreats and trips go through me and I make sure that they are planned well so they have good events and go smoothly. Also I lead a group of people below me and make sure they do their parts when the event happens.

Why I should be chosen: As listed above I have experience in planning events, as the only way to have gotten my position was to be voted in by your peers so they trusted me with the task. I love helping plan things and seeing a plan work out well so I can be a help in making sure the event is great. I always have free time so I have at least 5 hours everyday and this can go up to 16 hours+ so big projects or small things throughout the week I can be sure to be able to contribute and not be away, so I will be free in case contact is needed. I'm also flexible in planning so always open to suggestions and I will never shutdown ideas or get angry if my ideas are changed. Although the wall of text says otherwise I am actually fun and don't mind talking or skyping and i'm not stuck up I just take work seriously but besides that I am a great and fun worker.
