An example being: You see a teddy bear and it's the most adorable thing you have seen, you can use MPGH's Money you earned to buy that. So approximately how much scamming have you done? Consider the following:

Donations-
PayPal goes to Liz
AGC goes to Dave
Arun does not recieve donations.

If @arunforce or @Dave84311 is willing to release usergroup info or any info about total amounts of donators, then we'd may have an estimate.

Also consider the ad revenue from the split-up sites (DebateFort, Ragecry, etc.)

Consider the ad revenue recently that arun gets.
I've at least dropped $200 on ads, but that doesnt amount to steamdealz, lolshop, etc.

Also, never forget mpgh VIP hacks.

Oh, and the money Jov has donated to the site.

MPGH doesn't make shit.

It used to make some pocket change with ads, but it's not really a cash cow. Theoretically "we" (Dave) could make a shit load from it if he wanted to pimp it through monetary services (middleman fee, etc), but "we" aren't really interested in it. "We" have enough experience knowing the troubles that come from these kinda stuff.

Dave doesn't invest a whole lot of time into MPGH because it most likely won't ever pay him back. We all (Admins) got bills to pay. MPGH sucks out a lot of time and money in the form of opportunity cost, but it's kept alive because it's a fun site. If you wonder why Xenforo isn't coming anymore, it's because the time required to convert everything to at least a runnable form without compromising on moderating/security is hundreds of hours of work, and even then it would be a step back with everything not added back in, and even then Xenforo is less customizable than vB. There are plans in the works, which is probably a way better solution.

From a strictly financial perspective, it's not worth the time. That's the sad, unfortunate truth. If MPGH was capable of paying Dave a salary, this site would be always being developed instead of small improvements every few months.

Though, I'd actually like to see that happen. Maybe it could be a good thing to turn it into a site that pays Dave a salary but at the same time keep MPGH similar to the way it is. I guess the only hard part would be growing (in member count and active member count) considering that it's a hacking website
