Petition to remove the forum IM

Perhaps I am not the best candidate to start this thread but I really love these forums and want to see it grow even further.

On a slow day, I get added between 5-6 new members in MPGH and 80% of the time I get asked for disc0rd or Sky pe info. I did not know until recently that this isn't even allowed to be shared after the first contact interaction on IM forums until recently I opened up a scam report against someone and will now face a temporary ban coming shorting.

Now I have to tell customers that I can't share contact info and sometimes I don't hear back from them they would rather not have to deal with the IM hassle.

In my experience this forum has very slow loading times but the IM itself is a horribly implemented. Not only is it constantly not functioning but when it is working sometimes you don't even realize you get a new message. And this is also why I keep getting asked all the time even from members that have been using the forum for years for my external IM.

From my understanding the reason as to why the forum IM was implemented in the first place was to narrow down the "fake IM' scammers but to be honest if your dumb enough to fall for that you deserve it. Allow at least to share our own external IM after the first initial forum IM contact.

I know this is a long shot but maybe if there is enough support something can be done to improve the interaction between members.
The General Help section is full of complaints about the IM and no one really likes this feature.

It's an old discussion already. I don't think IM will ever get removed even though the sales were a lot better back then. Maybe we just have to get used to the IM and to the low sale rates.

trust me buddy nobody likes IM but they have made their decision to keep it and ban other forms of contact.
