Okay kiddies who haven't modded before.
Here's are some areas we need to go through before you make you first Combat Arms Mod.
Type of Mod
- Intro Mod
- Login Screen Mod
- Background Music Mod
- Lobby / UI Mod(s)
- Texture Mod(s)
- Cross Mod(s)
- RoF Mod(s)
When making your first mod, the type and quality of your mod is very important.
Why? -- It starts off your reputation as what type of modder you are, and the quality of your modding skills.
Here are the do's and don't's of modding:
Do:
- Make an original Mod
- Gather your: Virus Scan(s), Screenshot(s), Video(s), Attachment(s), and if used, Credits toward the people that helped you (Tutorial / Personal Guidance)
Don't:
- Leech mods
- Make a duplicate mod
- Upload a mod that doesn't work
- Display false information: Virus Scan, Screenshot, Video, Attachment, Credits
- Use outside links for download, unless necessary
- Advertise other hacking/modding sites in your mod.
Before you start your first mod, you should choose one of the following mod types above, before you pick the mod type of your choice, you should know about the difficulity level of each type. Once you choose the one you like, you may click for the tutorial or search for another tutorial on the site.

Tips:
- Don't waste your time with a leeched mod.
- If you Copy + Paste a picture over a gun and bring it here, nobody will get it.
- Don't copy Texture mod tutorials 100% they're over done and un-attractive because it may have been done 50+ times already, show some originality and creativity.
- Dont put images on scopes unless they come out right to your eyes and a friend agrees with you.
- Intro Mods, Background Mods, and Lobby Music mods are a waste of time because they're simple and don't really make a difference.
- Try not to mod rare guns, if you do, you might get only 1-20 downloads even if it's very succesful.
- If you don't like it, then don't upload it.
- Post Previews / Test Requests in the Discussion sub-section.
