[Helpful when dealing with PunkBuster]
MAC address:
1. Go to the Control Panel and double-click on Network and Dial-up Connections.
2. Right click on the NIC you want to change the MAC address on and click properties.
3. Under General, click Configure.
4. Click Advanced.
5. Under Property Section, click Network Address or Locally Administered Address.
6. Under Value, type in the New MAC address.
7. Goto command prompt and type ipconfig /all or net config rdr.
8. Restart comp.
Dynamic IP:
1. Go to the command prompt (Start>Run>cmd) and type ipconfig /release.
2. Exit that shit.
3. Right-click on Network Places and go to properties.
4. Right-click on Local Area Connection and go to properties.
5. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
6. Click Use the following IP address and come up with something stupid.
7. Press Tab and it should automatically fill in the Subnet Mask.
8. Click Ok on both windows.
9. Once you are back at the Local Area Connetions screen, Right-click Local Area Connection and go to properties again.
10. Go back to the TCP/IP settings.
11. Select Obtain An IP Address Automatically and you're done.
This has proved helpful in the past with everything except GUID bans. With practice you can do both of these in less than a min.
