I don't really agree with the popularity contest part myself but I'm basicly just quoting aruns response to a thread I make about this yesterday. I think cs vote outs are a great way to decide who should get out and who shouldent basicly forcing cs to do as described suck some dick to get out

I may have to agree with @arunforce on this after hearing him out cocksucker is already a shitty tag and putting extra shit on top or that just forces members to create alts or leave and if we wanted that they would have been banned and I haven't seem anyone begging for cocksucker lately only a few retards fighting over who should get it and it doesnt look like the current cocksuckers are enjoyed themselves as much as they though they would

Although I don't have the CS usergroups set to my main group, none of the current punishments are shitty. The only thing that sucks is the 50x50 avatar, and it's easily avoidable by just not changing your avatar, like me.

CS is nothing more than a tag now. Caps at the beginning of every word? No big deal. Extra tag? Good thing for taghunters. No flaming or arguing allowed or ban? Not enforced at all.

Even though I'm a CS, I'd still like punishments to be more harsh. Maybe not as harsh as Ameer stated, but something needs to change. But of course as we're in no position to call the shots around here, and obviously the staff know what's better for the site than us.

It was always the same people who got out every time. People with reformed behavior don't get out unless they are popular, some people were trapped in the hell for 1-2 years, no lie. Basically they stopped posting in general, improved their behavior, and never got out. People vote for their buddies, and because it was a public vote out, it always enforced that friends voted for friends or risk losing the friendship. Not to mention the sheep factor, people voted for the people who were in the lead or who the staff members voted for. Like that ****** Rance would probably get out every time there would be a vote out, or at least in top 5 every time, because he has a lot of butt buddies. But, at the end of the day, he deserved it and still deserves CS. Those things couldn't be overcome with a popular-vote vote out.

I admit it the vote outs were fun and enjoyable, kinda like a campaign for public office of MPGH, but after 2+ years; the same problems weren't resolved so we moved on from that system.

Then what if we had a certain requirement for people that were voting? Like lvl 2/3, staff/fs only?

Or possible something like lvl 1 member's votes only count for half or something like that.

Say that one gets out based on the highest vote, and one gets out based on your choice. That way at least one person who deserves to get out of it, gets out. 1) either get them to make an alt
2) lose interest in communicating
3) just leave MPGH (we could have taken care of that if we wanted?)

People tend to overstate things: MPGH used to be crazier when I was around; staff used to be very mean; cs sucked back then; etc...
