[General] Topaz?

Topaz?

Hey guys,

I can't really post this in the correct section because no one really checks the sub-sections so there's that. Don't hate pls.

Anyways.... Do you know where I can get the Topaz filters for free for PS CC 2014? I Google'd it already but a bunch of them were pretty outdated and a few of them are torrents which may or may not work. Might as well ask here before I go out looking again.

I would give you the magnet link to the topaz I had but that will be considerably harder to find due to TPB being raided and the teams at hand; but onto another topic with the same subject; Topaz is pretty lame.. it doesn't do anything you can't already do with default adjustment layers and a little -hands~on- work.. I advise against bothering with it.. i deleted it from my Hard drive shortly after installing.. still need to get rid of the photofxlab thing in photoshop, but haven't bothered getting around to that... it seems pointless to bother with topaz or its remnants

Haven't tried it yet to see if its worth it to me or not. Besides, I have the hard drive space

The filters built into PS already.

Love all the haters of Topaz, especially you @Organized Chaos, because you have no fucking idea what you are even talking about most the time. pretty funny to read your dumb ass comments sometimes.

As far as i know, Topaz makes your works feel all the same, thus i would avoid it most of the times.
However i'm really no expert about it as i don't even use photoshop.
I believe people like Seyeko could chime in to help you.

Yes, because he's a massive topaz whore.

I'll admit, that if used properly and in the right amount, it could make certain things look better. But in most cases, people overuse the fuck out of topaz and it ends up making their work look amateurish and all the same.

Plus the fact that there's nothing topaz can do, that PS can't.
