Ezel
Today i've stumbled on a cool Ezel artwork from ffta, i felt inspired and made something.
The concept is inspired by what he does in the game: pulls out a card, shinin' animation happens and rules break; in a similiar way, now he's pulling out a card and breaks parts of the image.
I've tried my best to use a red-yellow-blue color scheme, taken from his ear rings.
One issue that i'm aware of is the low render quality as unluckily it wasn't high quality and it's been a pain to cut it.
Alright, here it is:

v1

v2

As always, i'd appreciate some quality CnC. =)
You know you fucked up when a paint drawn dick gets more replies than you...or when people who reply just to increase their post count intentionally skip your thread.

Ouch...
/charlim
xD CNC; wise the effect feels weird with the render being off center and the pixelation under the render throws it off in the first; in the second it feels kinda natural...

Off-Topic;

You do quite well even though i haven't seen much of your work and therefore no previous context to compare your ability to..

Here are some of my works, many of them are sort by creation date and can be found on mpgh.

They're not all, but they should be enough. I've had my dopes and nopes :P .

Btw, the idea is indeed to have the image feel weird, broken, while everything makes sense if observed closely.
The deal is that i've simply cut three triangular shapes of the render, moved them a little and added those three rays, thus it's hard at early to say which parts are the moved one and which aren't.
I'm glad i did deliver to at least one person. <3

I prefer these two out of that entire list especially the color mix and effect style;

Otherwise; (personally) I would have gone for c4d render distortion where it kinda just 'break's something kinda like

but y'know... not horrible like mine
Might revisit it to get a better representation since this was an early attempt to use any form of c4d without real testing;

I too love those two, alongside the klippa one, but my favourite is the codename_bc one. However i can't stick to one particuliar style for the rest of my life, can i?

As for the c4d distortion, i aimed to emulate the effect played ingame (he raises the antilaw card to the air, everything darkens and shiny light beams shoot out from it), that's why i didn't do it differently...plus i don't have any C4Ds :P .

Regarding the image you linked, when testing try to use the least amount of extra effects possible, it's really hard to understand what's going on because everything's too bright.

Yes, I've come to that conclusion so I've narrowed it down to 3 adjustment layers then blending options & misc effects
