Hello guys. I got banned from a bunch of servers on my main. I just bought an alt but my PID didnt change on my alt. I'm re-installing right now to see if that helps. Any ideas how to get it to change on my new account?

BattlEye updated months ago and changed how global bans work now. They are both PID and SteamID based. The only true way to play again is to buy it on the alt like you already did, then find the location of the key in your PC's registry and manually hex it over to the new ID. (Also, if you EVER launch ArmA on your old account, it WILL overwrite the newly hexed key). I'm currently not sure if launching the game on a SteamID banned account initiates a related-account ban (accounts logged in from same IP address/PC)
My friend bought an alt a week or so ago and he didn't have any problems with PID. It changed instantly. How would i find the PID in the registry and hex it over?
Don't listen to that guy.
do this, in this order.
1. make sure family sharing is turned off in steam
2. create new steam
3. buy arma 3 or activate game
4. restart PC
5. start arma, create new player profile from main menu.
6. restart your router/change IP or use VPN
I do this, works for me everytime.
Do i need to rebuy arma (again)?

yes, an effective way i found, is durring the big sales where arma is like $10, i create 3 new steam accounts and buy it 3 different times and wait until each one gets banned so i have a good supply of steam/arma accounts over 6 months
No response after two days, assuming solved.
