Problem with my Class m8

So recently my class mate bought a Samsung S5

My other class mate wanted to troll the S5 one and toke it from her then dropped it on the ground [I'm the only one who saw it]
Then hide it in her pocket
In the last of the class the S5 mate noticed and came to her to take it from her, She passed the Phone to me and then i gave the phone to the owner and went back to home

Next few hours The owner texted me saying that I crashed the phone and its not turning on

And only I saw when my class m8 dropped the phone
what should i do now?

Well, at the moment the only way is to say the truth and wait to see what will happend thx 4 helping
