Over-hyped like anything else that comes out these days and reaches a minority fan base because "Wow look at this 10/10 plot. What? Of course I know what I'm talking about. I've seen so much Anime, here are my ten shows that are all rated 10/10. It includes Death Note, Bleach, and Code Geass! No, I'm not a mainstream guy, because look at this random show that I gave a 10/10 to because if nobody else has seen it, then I must know about everything else!"
That sounds a bit extreme, but I swear any ****** I've talked to does that shit to me. Never want to gat someone more than then.

not bad, but the hype it's getting, is 2 much.
Honestly I couldnt finish it its so damn horrible I cant even understand how it even got to be mainstream.

You talk to her. You watch AoT(If you hadn't already) and you tell her you saw it. As she says how good it was and your favorite part. You tell her the ending. In her mind of confusion, she says "What?". At that point, you follow it up with like a complete Otaku response on Character development, plot, everything. You give her the fucking nut, and then stop talking to her. The next time you see her talk about it, you just show up to school wearing a Trench coat.

I actually just finished AoT like 4 hours ago I liked it I guess its not the best anime ever but hey I liked it. My friend asked me to give it a shot and I did and I was surprised. you mother fuckers need to lighten up its not the greatest shit anime has to offer but it was good. People had me thinking it was the worst show ever to be produced.
