Gun laws.

I am not sure if this goes in debating section sorry if it does. (Ain't really saying it's right or wrong just want thoughts)
So in Australia we are not allowed guns/bbsoft weapons/knives that like a karambit/hell I think a cap gun is banned in some state.
Any people on here that own a gun or any types of weapons like this? (not a cap gun since it's pretty much a toy -.-) What are your thoughts? Do you find it scary that a person with mental issues could have one or are there was to prevent that? It kinda sucks in Australia I mean the worst a BBSOFT can do is draw a bit of blood and I really want one.

I have many airsoft guns (use to airsoft). I "own" 2 actual firearms. At least in america i'm pretty sure if you have mental issues you cant own a gun. Also depending on your state (in america) it can be pretty hard to get a gun but where I live in georgia all you have to do is sign some papers lol. (background check of course)

Become a police officer and you get a pistol. Work at a farm in the outback where there will be these animals that would be considered as pests and you can get a gun license.

I got a gun license just because my uncle has a farm and I go there during the holidays sometimes xD

I love being allowed to own guns. Although I'm not old enough to get a permit, I am allowed to have a gun in my house.

That being said, I love guns. I own a Beretta M9, 12 Gauge Mossy 500, Carbon Fiber AR-15, and my grandpa is selling me his Barrett .50 Cal soon. I'm also purchasing a Glock 22 in a month.
