I Was just bored so I done a tutorial on how to get C4 in your steam inventory!
Since I went a bit fast I will provide you with steps in this thread under the video.
Step 1: Locate the "items_game.txt" file in your Counter strike global offensive folder.
Step 2: Press CTRL +F And search for "C4"
Step 3: To know if you have found the right "C4", There will be information under it as if it was a weapon.

"item_slot" "c4"
"item_name" "#SFUI_WPNHUD_C4"
"item_description" "#CSGO_Item_Desc_C4"
"icon_default_image" "materials/icons/inventory_icon_weapon_c4.vtf"
"model_player" "models/weapons/v_ied.mdl"
"model_world" "models/weapons/w_ied.mdl"
"mouse_pressed_sound" "weapons/c4/c4_draw.wav"
"drop_sound" "weapons/c4/c4_plant.wav"
Step 4: Change where it says "item_slot" "c4" to "item_slot" "melee"
Step 5: Restart CS:GO
Step 6: You Will require a Name tag, Change the name of the C4 To whatever you want to call it.
Step 7: Go back onto the "items_game.txt" file and find the c4 again and change the slot back to "c4"
This is pretty much all of it.
The reason why you need a name tag is because if it was just a normal c4 and you tried changing the slot back to c4, the system will know that it's a default C4 So it will remove it from you. Also keeping the "SLOT" as a "Melee" Will make it so you can't play VAC Games.
Don't worry, this is allowed, since there are many videos and DICUSSIONS AND GUIDES On CS:GO HUB.
Valve already know about it and knows it's harmless.
