If you want to make a basic Dll Injector. You only need to focus on a few functions.
OpenProcess.
VirtualAllocEx.
WriteProcessMemory.
CreateRemoteThread.

And your method of loading the dll. Either LoadLibrary or LdrLoadDll.

Alternatively you could map it into the remote process but that's a bit more trickier.
