Adderall Discussion

Any of you here have ADD/ADHD and take Adderall?

I'm curious how you feel about it, I just switched (as of yesterday) to Adderall XR 20mg from 10mg IR's, and I have noticed a bit more of an intensive crash at the end of the day. What about the rest of you?

Eh... I don't have my ADD, but my friend does. He takes 20MGs and is fine during the day, but fucked during the night.

Right! That's the biggest problem with the XR's that I'm seeing at the moment, after I get done from school, the meds should be wearing off, so if I wanted to do homework, I'm S.O.L because I don't want to take another that's supposed to last 24HRS (Not realistic at all considering IR's "last" 4 hours but I take them around every 2 with my high metabolism)

Edit: I do still have some Instant Release pills, but I usually forget to take them anyways, which is why my doctor recommended to switch to XR == "take it and forget it"

XR's suck. Get back on those IRs.

I don't have ADD/ADHD but i did take them daily. I would take 60mg, and about 2 pills a day.. Also, be careful with them, you take too much, you can get very pill sick off them. Other than that, i loved them and got so much shit done lol.

Sorry if i'm being a total retard, but what would one take Adderall for? (obviously for add/adhd) but what does it do?

It's Speed, a form of Methamphetamine, It's like pure adrenaline if you do not have ADD/ADHD, but it helps you focus "in school" or get shit done hella fast.

I use it strictly for treating my ADD, but many people I know snort like.. what 50mg? (5 10mg tabs) at a time...

Nope, have seen people selling it around school around finals time though.

I want to take it when I do my finals, heard you focus 10x better, it'd be perfect

You focus a lot better, no doubt about that, but you also get an adrenaline rush and just want to clean or game all night. But the crash afterwards is quite dreadful considering you sleep all day long.
