Annoying Malware?
So for the past two days I've been trying to get rid of some malware/adware that I did not notice I had, until now.
I've been trying to find a solution but nothing seems to work.
I found out I had this when malware bytes kept giving me notifications with the same file, saying it is quarantined or what not.
Even though I scanned my computer w/ Malware Bytes and quarantined/deleted the file, it keeps giving me notifications about it.
My web browser (Chrome) won't work sometimes because of this. and the notifications get annoying.
The file's name is PUP.Optional.Winsock.Hijack
And here is another file I found, which is part of PUP.Optional.Winsock.Hijack.
Anyone got any ideas on how to remove this shit completely?
