mic problem

i have had these kind of problems in past, my mic makes fuzzy or something that annoys the shit out of the people i am talking to.

i just went from a blue snowball, to a razer kraken pro headset. my snowball was fine, but apparently my headset makes noises that piss people off, and i don't know what causes it.

i am able to just switch out the mic cable, but i'd rather not. i believe that my computer has electricity running through the computer which is messing a whole bunch of shit within my desktop.

i have had headsets in the past that had this problem as well. with my turtle beach x11s...

anyone have any info on why this might be happening?

i had my computer on the carpet for quite some time, and believe some electricity went into the computer. i touched it one time and it actually shocked me.

Hmmm, have you tried turning your pc on and off again? Is there a file named sys32 or system32, if so, try and delete that

Trying pulling the power plug, I heard electricity can come through it

I second this, if you have a file names System 32 or sys32 you need to delete ASAP! It's a terrible virus and will constantly fuck up your computer.

i have the same headset and i just turned off the mic boost or something and changed something in the razer software thingy. When i was searching for a fix online ppl were like "u gotta rewire ur shit in ur computer" but yea the mic boost and razer software fixed the problem for me

Make sure there's no gain. Do this by checking the properties of the mic by right clicking the little loudspeaker icon and then clicking "Recording Devices".

Might be because your motherboard has an appalling sound card. Try getting an external USB sound card from Amazon. Probably around £3 or something.

Other than that, I don't really know lol.

Yeah, the microphone pre-amps (amplifiers) can be very noisy on some soundcards, especially on the integrated ones. Try turning off the mic-boost and just turn up the microphone "volume" up. Like you suspected, sometimes the "quality" of electricity can also be factor and other devices plugged behind the same socket or "breaker" can cause noise. You might also want to check if the cable of the mic itself isn't picking up any noise from nearby power cable, as the cable isn't very well shielded on cheap microphones. If you can, try the microphone on different computer to find out which one is the problem.

Try this it may work

I had this on my G930 and i used for a couple of days and it got fixed by itself dunno how

I had same problem.
If your computer is sitting on a carpet or anything other than wood, try putting a piece of wood underneath for the computer to sit on.
Try changing your boost / mic audio levels.
Your inboard sound card might be fucked so buy a new sound card and plug your mic into that.
Try these, if no fix try them all together - should work since it did for meh.
