getting hours

Does the method still work were u spam SAM to make steam think your playing but your not? Im sure afk'ing with SAM works but does spamming more of them work? i tried a couple times but it seems like the hours are going faster, but not as fast as it should be when im spaming SAM's.

P.S(SAM is Steam achievement manager)

Im not 100% Sure or not but the hours are meant to be calculated server sided meaning sam will get you hours but not faster then IRL time
