Yeah, COD is targeted for a different audience than it's actual one. On another note it seems like Actishit is more conserned about the revenue of their titles rather than their quality. Treyarch has done a great job in the past so let's just cross our fingers for BO3.

It is indeed, but it's more because old COD fans (like myself) are still pretty addicted and hopeful that the game might improve. The sad fact is that it doesn't. Well talking at least in a gameplay overview. Starting from the oldest CODs like COD2 and COD4 the game really became popular then MW2 really improved over MW with enchanted gameplay and lots of new features (later on with dedicated servers as well thanks to NTA) the same goes for BO1, then MW3 and BO2 were just c&p of the previous titles but with rather a fancier looks and styles. Nothing new. And they promote fish AI as an improvement, WTF?! AW in the other hand looks better (I didn't play it due to lack of RAM), especially its momentum based gameplay, amazing I'd say, something new. However we'll see about BO3 so we must hope at least.
