How to use

Download and Extract K Relay
Download the included client (Or if you have your own)
Run 'K_Relay.exe'
If not already started, press 'Start Proxy'
On the client, change your server to 'Proxy Server'
Play

Out of curiosity how did you fix the issue with KRelay going out of control on CPU usage? It may just be that I had an old version that I updated by hand.

I've never had a problem with that, but if it's an issue you could talk to Krazyshank about fixing it.

Well the version I have is rather old and I have done all the updates and fixes to it myself so it may be time to just grab a fresh copy. Will probably just grab this once it is approved.

Hey, Just updated to this one and I'm getting "Socket-Server Security Error #2048", any idea how to fix this?
It's also killing my cpu and has to be closed with Task Manager?

Run your Flash projector as Admin. I know it sounds dumb, but it will resolve the issue.

Turns out MY updates to KRelay were fine, but something with this version of the game is causing issues on Win10 for me. The above resolved my issue.

I've never used K-Relay before ..can I install this on win XP?

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if u click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately

Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted."

And when i click continue it will say "[Client Listener] Starting Local Listener 127.0.0.1 on port 2050"
And then it just says Starting but nothing never happens and i cant connect to proxy server

Help would be much appreciated Thanks

Do you have another K-Relay running? Or another program using the port?

If not, sometimes K-Relay bugs when you close it, and it still uses the port. Open task manager and check for it under Processes and Background Processes.

This did not fix my issue, OP? Any Ideas why this version isn't working for me?

We still need do this (if we are first time using this):
WINDOWS

Installation:
Extract the .zip file anywhere
Open "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts" with notepad in administrator mode
Add a new line to the file, with the following text:
127.0.0.1 ec2-50-19-47-160.compute-1.amazonaws.com
Save the hosts file

Usage:
Start the program by double-clicking "win_start.bat"

No, not since ages. Before, when rotmg received used hostnames (i.e uswest.amazonanews.com) we had to patch the host file
Now Realm receive ips directly, so we have to use a patched client.

Changing server doesn't work. What can i do if i don't want to play on USWEST?
