Im thinking of pre-ordering bo3 but dont know which version to get. Dvd or digital download steam?

There is no real difference. I would prefer Steam since I just like Steam as a program.

Nope, not as far as I know.
dvd or steam - wherever you will buy it, you will alway have to activate it on STEAM.
