Need help with Fab's client

Okay, so I got the source, set it up, tried running both the Server and wServer. Had no problems.
Then I decompile the client (with RABCDAsm), and change the IPs with Yogda and AstroGrep.
I try to run the client, it loads but it sends me to the actual servers.
Is there something I did wrong? I used the Client Updater included in the source.

If you selected "Connect to Production" in the Client Updater that may be the reason why you connect to Prod.

If by that you mean Orape, then I deselect everything and it says I didn't choose any hacks. So I just close it out and get an error from the actual updater.

No what he meant was, when you go in the client updater to make your Orape client for your pserver uncheck the box that says "Connect to Production". After that has been done and your client has been built, decompile the client and now change the IPs. Now recompile and start server.exe and wServer.exe and open your client. If it doesn't work then you might be making a mistake.

Okay, so I tried what you suggested and it didn't really work for me.
When I try using client, it connects me to prod. When I use client-release, it doesn't even open.

I can't figure out what is happening. Any chance you know what's up @Riigged @Shlub @ossimc82 @krazyshank

lol mate your doing it wrong the fabiano client is already precompiled in the fabs source if im not mistake you just go into com>company>assembleegameclient>parameters>Then parameters class ctrl+f for 127.0.0.1 and then change it to your clients ip then recompile it and your client should be good to go

I searched for 127.0.0.1 and Notepad++ couldn't find the text. I decompiled the client that came with the source named client-release. When I opened it, it was pitch black and I'm guessing its because I didn't put up the server yet.

Okay, so I got the IPs changed in Yogda and now I get the unable to load language error. I changed the port to 8888 in both the cfg and the client.

No no no. You do not want the port to be 8888. The port must be 80. This might be your issue. And also when you add your ip to you client put in your ip and at the end of your ip add (:80) without parentheses.

Okay, I changed it to 80 and now the server.exe says port 80 is occupied but I turned off skype and used netstat to check if something actually was, but nothing turned up. I am running it as admin.

Okay, so now make sure Skype is closed and open Xampp, Run Apache and MySQL and give it maybe 5 minutes or so, then try opening the Server.exe as admin and the same for wServer.exe

Tried that, same result. I am using wampserver instead of xampp if that helps.

Make sure you get the client before you open the client updater, DONT click get latest client (or something similair) when orape pops up. I suggest that you enable "Spammable Notifications".

No mate you should be using Xampp.
