Yes but there are thousands of ways and these 2 are very effective, they saved me when even combofix couldnt.

You should add that researching the driver, library or application before removing it is a good idea. If they're not documented they're probably not important or are some form of malware\torjan.

Additionally, for most viruses this doesn't work anymore.
