There really is no character development. There are a few things between Saitama and King but that's about it. I think the side characters get more than the main character, but that's just all we have.

OT: OPM is great and all, but with no season two in the near future, I doubt many people will remember it outside what it is. The webcomic is updated monthly last I checked, and the manga doesn't have enough material. Muruta did say he would work hard to get a season two, but it's Madhouse. Madhouse doesn't know what a season two is.

The "plot" in OPM doesn't really start until the heroes academy arc in the webcomic(and I think this was in the manga? I honestly don't remember). There is another major fight scene that's just 10x better than the Boros one and if OPM somehow gets a season two with it animated, I will probably be watching it many, many times, assuming the animation is done correctly.

Again, quality. And no, they're not the same. It's been proven that streaming websites darken their colors for whatever fucking reason they choose to. It's not my fault you want to watch it in a way that wasn't supposed to be presented as so.
