Purchasing Ebay feedback?

Is it possible to purchase positive ebay feedback?
I'm currently starting up a service and I need 100+ positive feedback in order to get more customers, be higher on the lists etc.

Curious about this too, want to start selling on eBay as well. Is there not a sellers fee on it though?

They take a small percentage if you choose the ''Fixed price (Buy it now)'' option. It's techinally possible to sell something for 0.99 dollars, get a positive feedback and end up having to pay almost nothing to eBay. But it's too much work if I'm going to do this 100+ times.

idea is nice but process sounds exhausting

It would be possible, and fairly easy to do, but would mean setting up several PayPal accounts, EBay Accounts, and making several listings. While I do have several verified PayPal accounts, I don't think even I want to do that. The moment someone sets up the service, is the moment that EBay buys the service and then bans all the accounts that received 5+ feedback from said company.

It would be easier, to offer a service, where as you pay people $5 to buy a 99 cent item off of you, in return for good rep.

It should be noted that eBay can look at an account and tell when exactly you opened an account with them. While it's not suspicious to have 100+ accounts registered in the same month, it would be suspicious to have 100+ new accounts all leave feedback for you in a short time.

Anecdote: I found out they could tell when accounts were opened, when i called tech support with an issue a couple years ago. The rep was looking through my account and whistled, when he looked at some info. He found that I had established my account in 1996, a year after ebay had gone online. 20 years later, my rep is only at 62, lol.

@Chasing Sleep Do penny auctions, but not too many at once. Make sure it's one penny from each seller and never multiple.

Ive purchased about 100 items off ebay in auctions for less than 15 cents. Why is it bad to repeat sellers? Because they show up as having repped you before?

Well, you can only gain one rep per penny seller. The next purchase from the same seller doesn't add anymore rep. Too many penny purchases on a brand new account will result in a ban though. So do a few a day until over 50 rep, then probably doesn't matter how many you do after that point.

I dont think that is true as I did over 100 purchases within the week. However the account was about a year old it had just never been used to purchase anything yet!

Well, that's obviously because the account wasn't brand new. If you go make an account and just go strait to buying penny auctions, it will result in a ban of that account. When I got banned the one time, I remember reading everywhere that people who had older accounts can get away with it much easier. Especially if they already have some legit rep.

This is fascinating.
