Reborn Weekly #1
Reborn Weekly #1
This is the first of a series of weekly updates planned to release information about the upcoming large project, Phoenix Realms 2. A project administrator will be posting an update here every week showing off something that will be in the public release of the server. We’re hoping you’ll all enjoy what we have to show.
Foremost, we’d like to share some words about our main development team, who’s been actively working on the server so far. Out of these people, there are four head developers that I would like to introduce today.
Proph Nobster (@Stellar Spark)
Proph is the Project Manager of PR2. He was one of the better developers on the original Phoenix Realms, and has put in more work than anyone to make this project a reality. If Proph wasn’t here PR2 would not have existed. He has a lot of experience with both client and server-sided programming and I’m confident he has what it takes to run a solid development team.
LunarShade (@Lunati)
Lunar was the Project Manager of the original Phoenix Realms, and is the development manager and creative director for PR2. After a long hiatus from any kind of realm development, Proph managed to get him on board to help along with the sequel to his original project. He’ll be working on creating and developing many of the gameplay elements you’ll be seeing in the final project.
Astro (@astrovelo)
Astro has been a part of Phoenix Realms almost since the very beginning. He started out as a simple behavior developer and has gotten a long way since then. Always ensuring that his work is fully completed, he’s become one of our best developers, and is a very hard worker.
Travoos (@Travoos)
Travoos is somewhat of an on-off developer, but when he does work he usually implements great features. He’s tends to mostly work visual features and content supplemented by interactive UI. When he’s not working on Phoenix, he can be counted on to help discuss future developments to come.
Now that we’ve introduced our four main devs, we’re gonna leave you with a sneak peek of what’s to come. Next week, we’ll go into some greater detail about our main goal with this project. We hope to see you then!
