Help reading Globalvars
Hey!,
I'm currently writing Psilent Externally, I've used the guide one another forum called Perfect Silent Aim (External).
I've gotten my "Psilent" to a point where it actually works, but it doesn't hit the ticks perfectly as I've been unable to read GlobalVars sucessfully.
I'm not asking for free code as I'm well capable of writing that myself, however I'm asking if anyone has any clues to why it doesn't work.
I've tried something similar to this
"DWORD globalptr = memory.read<dword>(dwClient + offsets::globalvars);"
and then read
"float ticks = memory.read<float>(globalptr + 0x1C);"
but it has only resulted in negative values to the power of 33.
currently I'm reading the flServerTime this way
"float flServerTime = (float)memory.read<int>(_guid + m_nTickBase) * 0.015625;"
I chose 0.015625 due to | 64 / 1 == 0.015625 | which I assumed was as close as I could get it without using the value from globalvars (interval_per_tick)
I was hoping that someone here knows what my issue is and could either tell me what I'm doing wrong or point me in the right direction.
To sum it up. I cant read from Globalvars for some stupid reason as it gives the wrong values, and I'm asking if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong. I'm specifically looking for how to read (Interval_per_tick) from Globalvars.
I'm also well aware that Psilent was demo patched, but that wont stop me :P
Best Regards,
Me
