It had to happen eventually - so good luck to those who use it, and damn the 'pay to play' supporters who are calling this bad and are almost as bad as the elitists who believe that only the worthy few should be allowed to mod - the world of the PC/Mac, where you can run any software and OS you damn well please without authority from 'above', is the spiritual home for level-playing field use of mod accessibility and use, and if the elitists (and their fanboys) can't face that reality, maybe they should find a new platform to inhabit and create their elitist nirvana in.
If the elitists and their fanboys had their way, all those messing with Arduino (and similar style SBC/AVR) external 'hacks' would be next on the unworthy 'little people' list to be denied an accessible non-exclusive code/interfacing hook. Mind you, given a lot of the elitists wouldn't stray outside of their comfort zone to risk being on the fringes by indulging in hybrid modding, if they did put the hybrid mod fans and developers on the sh*tlist too - it would more reflect their ass-covering fears and ignorance than what they believe we'd be capable of.
As for where and how the code involved in this 'hook' comes from/originated or got inspired by, i couldn't give a damn personally. As i won't be using it online since i'm only using these resources for SP based mod and hybrid mod testing now in 'V', it's only of critical interest to those who want to use it beyond that, and on that count - let their conscience be their guide, and good luck to them either way and a thanks (in the spirit that i still believe in stuff like this being open to all) to ghost16453 for the effort of bringing into the open and whatever part or whole contribution you made to it.
