Uninstalling gmod should clear up around 10GB (if you got all those addons), which should allow for more space for your cp.

So clearly uninstalling gmod is the best option.

There's a module (you could easily find with some googling) that allowed you to block the game from downloading certain types of files

i wanna say it was like gmcl_downloadfilter or something, I know HeX made it.
not sure if it's still around but it's worth a try
