STEAM HELP. PLEASE!

Hey, just got my new 2000 dollar laptop, and I was downloading steam, I tried downloading it to ssd. But now every config is on my desktop?
Like the desktop is just filled with configs.. CAn i drag them into the ssd? And where.. do i need to make a new folder? and where? Hopefully i can get this sorted out-- And is this somethig I have to do. every time i download something??

u probaly forgot to mark the map so it saved all files on you're desktop instead
just delete it all and reinstall it again and make sure u marked the map where u want those files to be saved
