Amazon refunds

Just a quick question I thought i'd ask here instead of bothering the refunder I used, Just wanted to check if I need to contact them again or this is normal.

But basically, when your refunder does your refund how long does it take for you to get a confirmation email or for it to show up on your amazon account? My refunder (who is reputable here) said it was done and to wait for an email. I just said thanks and left it to wait, but it's been 5 hours and i've had no confirmation email or anything changed on my amazon account.

Is this normal? or should it appear quicker?

The refunder did not do it if you have not received any emails from amazon. Confirmation email is instant.

Yeah that's what I thought, it's why I asked. Anyway this thread can be removed if any mods so wish. It's just because it was first refund and I had no idea.

Go look at your order details, it will show "refund grant" if it worked!

You have to remember that people who provide refund services are human beings and they take time. Amazon is typically pretty quick to process refunds given that no flags go off for excessive refunding on your account. I've gotten my refund processed through Amazon and back into my debit card in as little as 12 hours before. This was for $700

When your refunder do your refund your confirmation email shows right away.
