Is this possible?
Is it possible to make a command that would change the UI or other stuff? so like /UI FFFF00 and it would change to the color? or /glow FFFF00 to change the glow of your char? I'm talking about in game changes
all gui is client sided so to do that you would need packets involved most likely since you cant just change something in the client via server and the glow one is easy lol and can be done server sided ez

Mind saying what files I would need to edit to achieve glow?
pretty sure its just "Player.Glowing = HexColorCodeHere"

Glowing player is a bool and requires the player to be in the leader boards

just like stars it would change once you leave so its not permanent

but the Color of the Glow and the GUI isn't going to be changed by a command since its client sided unless you have alternative GUIs and Color Hexs already in and will change once the client receives a packet saying change me

can you help me create a glow command?

well on older sources its an int and on fab its easily changeable so you can write Player.Glowing = 000000; for example and yep i said the same thing about the gui, only way to change it is by sending packets since its client sided
Bool

If the player is not in legends they are not going to have the glow so you can't make a command that make's them glow but if you wanted to change the color you can do so in the client

Can be changed but is the character in legends? no? then its only temporary...
lol i can make a tut on how to change it or anyone can just copy it from SD if they really need

Look 2 comments up or the tutorial section.
Its easy. Ill write a vague "tutorial". Give me a min

EDIT:

If youre using an AS3 client, go to com.company.assembleegameclient.objects.Player.as. Search for "-1" in that file and look for anything that looks like this:

Code:
_local9 = TextureRedrawer.outlineGlow(_local8, 0, (((this._2v == -1)) ? 0 : 0xFF0000));

this._2v is youre legendary rank variable (Glowing). 0xFF0000 is the glow color. Change _2v to an uint, both on the client and server (you can also rename it to Glow or something). Change the "_2v == -1 ? 0 : 0xFF0000" part to "this._2v", and on the server you can change glow to be an hex, for the color. Havent tested it but it should work, on all sources.

Thanks for the tutorial but I meant is it possible to change glow in game? so the player can choose what color glow they want and do /glow "hexcolor".

If you do what i wrote, you can make a command that does something like
Code:
player.Glowing = uint.Parse(args[0]);
Note: it wont be perm, you'd have to store it in the database for that

It won't be permanent unless you stored the color hex in the client for it to be exchanged with the current color at any time
