I once read an article about how an insane number of male lives could have been saved from medical issues, if they'd been open about them and seen a doctor.
Don't know if that makes sense, but in other words, males are scared to even admit they have a medical problem a lot of the time.

I have an amazing teacher who has chronic depression and you wouldn't even know it. The way he explained was truly amazing but simply put; it's societies' fault. If men "open" up we are seen as weak, easily defeated, not wanted. It's sort of hard wired for us not to open up.

I suppose that's true. I just found that there's a lot of theory surrounding it. One being that men and women have the same suicidal thoughts, but men are more risk-taking and therefore follow through.

Never heard of that before, makes sense I guess. I personally think we are all depressed to a degree. Schools need to work on this shit the numbers are becoming so large. I know I want to "kill" my self because I have 6 fucking exams in 3 days. AYYAYAYYA

Yeah I'm sure it's a variety of things, it really has to be combatted though, for both genders. I've got exams too man, good luck, at least they'll be over fast.
