[HELP] Gaming PC Specs

today am going to buy a new computer,

i would like to ask what pc specs is needed for gaming,

i got d money, but i dont know what to buy,

help me plox so i can buy a great gaming pc

Lawl you post this and sidebar ads bout "intel: customize your gaming pc" come up. Smart ads FTW.

Just ask the guy at your local Fry's. Go there, and you'll find what you need for sure.
I could make a list, but it would just conflict with others.

basic requirements imo:

-fairly new nvidia/ATI card (personally, nvidia overheats too fast, ATI has a big ass fan and nvidia's is tiny.)

-dual-core processor. not getting one is shooting yourself in the foot.

- BIG FAN. I cannot stress this enough. playing GTA4 all settings max with about a hundred mods running at 1920x1280 WILL burn out something if you don't have an enormous fan. Liquid cooling works better, but I'm not a fan. bad experiences with kicking my comp.

Problem is, you will never get a great gaming PC if you don't make it yourself. Buy the high quality parts, and put em together in a mid/large tower case. Best advice though: don't try. don't sue me if you try and fail and break something.

don't buy a computer from the store. You save a lot of money and it's better than the ones in the store if you build your own.

My friend made his computer buying all parts from there. It's somewhat better than an alienware. Can max out crysis 1900x1100 resolution everything high with very high FPS.

He spent only $760 yet I bought this computer for $1000 and his is somewhat better.

Yeah, I buy some stuff from newegg too. Only when I can't find it at fry's though. nothing beats looking at the thing and figuring out if somethings gonna be screwed up or not.

Me and ahh i forget her name but we had a whole discusiion on a post about building the best computer ever all the stuff was cheap if u can find it in the froums or something u will see some good cheap stuff
