SUPER COMPUTER TIME
Greetings MPGH friends,

Lately I've been thinking about it, it being a new computer. Now I'm actually going to build it.

Here's what I'm thinking:

1) Server motherboard that supports multiple GPUS
2) Multiple GPUS (1 donated by @Jubs)
3) LOTS OF RAMS

Now I'm looking for some ideas for setups.

Thanks,
DaveFriend

Also you should check out the people on reddit over at /r/buildapc , If you post a thread including your budget they'll give you a few good builds via PC part picker

Enjoy Dave!

That build above hurts me. Such a waste of money that could be spent more wisely

Yep, don't tell him, let him waste his money. He'll realise later and regret it big time.

I guess life is just unfair sometimes. Some people just have so much money that they can spend it like that without regretting it at all.
There is really no point having more than 2 GPU's if your going to be getting the 1080 because nvidia does not support having more than 2 cards in sli anymore, and for ram, you can get sticks of 32gb, so imo there is no need for the server-grade motherboard
Go for a WS board with most likely a workstation CPU. Try ASUS OEM boards. You can get 128 GB ECC Ram. As for GPUs what tf are you using this for?
