Why do people from the US think so poorly of Canada?
As the title says
Same reason why most people from other countries think poorly of Americans?
I don't think we do. I think we envy Canada in most ways besides the socialism. 
In most aspects, Canada is pretty great. It's quite beautiful in some places too.
Most people I've met online and face-to-face don't think poorly of Canada, but there is the occasional joke about them being nice and apologising too much.

Can you elaborate more on that? Give me an example of when an American thought badly of Canada.
