Need help from the body builders

So, I saw Ameer getting some quality advice from Psychotic and such, so I'm deciding to go for some advice. But I'm literally the exact opposite. I have muscle mass on me (pretty decent from working out), but I can't ever seem to cut enough to actually have nice definition. I kind of look like a body builder in the bulking season. If anyone could help me, shoot me a pm or post on here. Would appreciate tips and information on what type of weight lifting to lean towards to cut, how to keep sugar cravings down, calorie intake, etc. pm me if you need more specifics, thanks!
    @Psychotic Hoping you'd help <3

You look like a body builder during the bulking season
You have lots of muscle mass, but you're lacking the "definition" of muscles?

Definition typically comes from your cutting season depending on when you do it because you're going to be cutting weight and getting rid of all the excess weight that isn't necessarily "muscle". Thus, once you do this you will have a better opportunity to define. Lower body fat is going to give you the opportunity to have the definition you desire.

    gain fat, lose definition
    lose fat, improve definition

So maybe improve your diet to be a bit healthier and if you're not already increase the amount of cardio in your workouts.
Personally I love sprinting that shit cuts you up and also gives killer abs.

So I know how cutting works and stuff. I just can't seem to fix my diet enough to lose enough fat. I need tips on how to keep my diet in check, and how to keep sugar cravings down. Also, I only two cardio twice a week, where I do Muay Thai Kickboxing, and then I weightlift three times a week.

Well to be fair it's not a drastic diet change you just shouldn't be eating like you're bulking. Instead of eating way over your recommended carb amount you should be eating right there if not a little bit under to assist you but continue to spread it across X amount of meals that you eat a day.

Doing cardio that much should be good enough as long as you adjust your diet to fit your cutting.

Okay, so I currently sit on a diet of around 1,800-2,000 calories, and I have a cheat day where I go up to 2,500. I've been doing this for around 5-6 weeks now, but I can't seem to cut any fat at all.

How much do you weigh though right now? Also do you happen to know your body fat percentage?
Any fluctuations in your weight at all or have you completely plateaued?

I'm 5'7" at 185. I would say my body fat is somewhere between 15%-20%

You're not working out enough, and consuming too much sugar.

Stop eating pizza, pasta, candy bars, and start eating Beans, Rice, Chicken, Nuts, eggs.

Also you can't go wrong with Salsa, especially with black beans and chicken.

Cut down cardio, focus on improving your metabolism by using weightlifting, do sprints 3x a week, maybe even some HIIT.
Prevent sugar cravings by not eating too much sugar.
It's like smoking and drinking, you smoke, you want more. You drink, you want more.
Whenever you eat too much sugar your mind goes crazy and once you're fulfilled you'll end up wanting the same effect in a few hours.

    what's important is consistence.

    good luck

IF you got a treadmill you can count your calories a lot easier, but in most cases you probably aren't counting your calories burned properly. If you aren't becoming more defined on a Diet then you aren't doing enough stuff aside from eating.

At that weight you're eating around the required calories to MAINTAIN your weight.

1300-1800 calories would be a good range to stay in I think.

I think 5x a week is enough lol.

Like just normal sprinting? And I'll try doing some HIIT. Also, how can I stop myself from craving sugar in the first place. I have a hard time with that because when I was younger, I was WAAAY overweight because my dad fed me candy 24/7. I'm pretty much addicted to sugar, and stopping cold turkey has been hard af.
But as you said, once I intake some sugar, I end up wanting more.

Suicide runs is what I do.
The way to stop sugar cravings is like any other addiction, you take it easy and go less and less every day.
You try to stop in one day and you'll end up being fine for a few days and then you'll go crazy and ruin it all.
You can get all pumped and motivated and go crazy one day doing a great job in training and diet and ruin it all next day.
    Rather take it moderate.

If you think anything is enough then It's not. Working out 5 days a week is nothing considering you're not serious.

The only reason why you shouldn't be working out a certain body part is because it's excessively sore and you don't want your muscles to stay sore for more than a week. It's mainly legs that have this issue because they are the easiest/strongest to workout.

Go run on a treadmill or something. A treadmill wont let you slow down, so you're pushing your self fundamentally harder without as much mental effort than you would running regularly.

The only workout i do is lift this 98 pound dumbbell i have.
