Choose Reward Quest Completion

I've browsed around the forums before posting this thread, but I couldn't find any information.

I been doing some Nulgath quests recently and found that both Le Bot & Carbon's [Voucher Item - Totem] are not choosing a reward, instead just completes it with no reward given (wasting time). I have no idea if this is even possible, but because those scripts are coded into the trainer, I don't think their goal was to turn in the quest for no reward.
